Part 0　今日の学習内容

英語の「人称」を学びましょう。
人称には、１人称・２人称・３人称があります。

「１人称」は「自分（たち）」のことで、I（単数）とwe（複数）で表します。

「2人称」は自分が話している相手＝「あなた（単数）・あなたたち(複数）」のことで、どちらもyouで表します。

「3人称」は、1人称でも2人称でもない人・物のすべてです。
それが単数か複数かで「３人称単数／複数」になります。
例えば、that book, my friend, he, she, itなどは「３人称単数」、these books, theyなどは「３人称複数」の例です。
主語が３人称単数の場合、動詞は現在形では語尾にs/esをつけるというルールがあります。

Let’s learn about grammatical “person” in English. In the present tense, verbs take an -s or -es when the subject is third person singular.

例文：

“Does she live in Tokyo?” – ” Yes, she does./No, she doesn’t.

「彼女はここに住んでいますか？」－「はい、住んでいます。／いいえ、住んでいません。」

“She plays tennis every weekend.”

「彼女は毎週末テニスをします。」
